The German-Soviet Non-Aggression Agreement Pact which included that both countries take no aggression towards each other for the next ten years. Germany invaded Czechoslovakia, breaking the agreement. Adolf Hitler was not trusted to keep agreements or peace treaties due to his dishonesty, due to his dishonesty.

Battle of Britain saw the RAF take on the German Air force. British created strong air force to defend themselves, but not all pilots were British. The RAF ended up defending the British.

It was the first air-sea battle in history. The Japanese wanted to control the coral sea by invading southeast New Guinea. As soon as they landed, they got attacked by Allied Forces- Americans. Both were damaged, but it ended in a tragic Allied victory.

It was the last major Nazi offense against the Allied Nations in world war II. Hitler planned to split the allies and cause conflict between them in order to cut their supply and sustainability.

American soldiers attacked the Japanese in order to get their land, "Iwo Jima". The land was protected greatly by 23,000 Japanese soldiers in various ways, such as caves and tunnels. The battle resulted in American victory. The Americans planted their flag on the land to symbolize the victory.

Hitler killed himself by a gunshot to the head on this day. In the Kurfürstendamm, SS squads shot anyone who put a white flag outside of their house. This led to Hitler's death.

They surrendered in Reims, France. Eisenhower forced the surrender, in East an d West. If the Germans did not agree, Eisenhower was prepared to seal off the Western front, preventing Germans from going to the West in order to surrender, leaving them in the hands of the Soviet forces.

It basically ended the war, America decided to drop the bomb on Japan. In Hiroshima and Nagasaki, specifically. About 192,000 people died in Hiroshima, the code name for the bomb was "Little Boy."

After the Japanese army and navy were destroyed, there was nothing much left to do other than surrender. After "Operation Olympic" and the capture of Okinawa, the Japanese surrendered and finally, ended the war.

After Hiroshima's event, 70,000 people died in Nagasaki(second atombic bomb drop) and that's when Emperor Hirohito(of Japan) decided to accept Postdam Declaration, ending the war.
