  • Albany Plan of Union

    Albany Plan of Union
    Was a plan to place the British North American colonies under a more centralized government. Was a proposal to create a unified government for the Thirteen Colonies. It was suggested by Benjamin Franklin, then a senior leader and a delegate from Pennsylvania. More than twenty representatives of several northern and mid-Atlantic colonies had gathered to plan their defense related to the French and Indian War.
  • Stamp Act
