Norman grew up in Los Angeles, California. He worked at a Harley Davidson shop for most of his early adulthood. He was also a painter, sculptor, photographer, and video artist. Some of this artwork was in various art shows around the area. -

Boondock Saints Movie
Boondock Saints was Norman's first movie where he had a major role. He stars as Murphy and is opposite of his brother Connor, who is played by Sean Patrick Flanery. Together they seek to cleanse the streets of Boston of crime via their own form of religious justice. As they kill gangster after ganster they also have to deal with FBI agent Paul Smecker who is hunting them. -
Boondock Saints 2 Movie
After 10 years of waiting, the sequel to Boondock Saints was produced. In this interview Norman Reedus talks about how he adjusted to the time between films and also tells a story on how his acting career was started. -

Interview About The Walking Dead and His Character
In this interview Norman Reedus talks about The Walking Dead. His character in The Walking Dead is rather unique. It does not exist in the graphic novels so the director made it up for him. Since his character was made up he actually had some input on how his character was going to be. Due to his character being made up he does not know entirely where his character will end also. -

Elle.com sat down with Norman Reedus to talk about The Walking Dead. Norman's phenomenal acting in the show "has a lot to do with [his] dad." When he was asked how he prepares himself for scenes, especially, emotional ones, he said "I just try and play it real as much as possible. And I guess, I'm pretty damaged person already, so I can get damaged [onscreen] fairly easy." He also commented on how Daryl's character arc has developed and made some changes to Daryl with the writers help. -

Here is a poster for the upcoming season 6 of the Walking Dead. Some significance that I see in the poster is where Norman's character, Daryl Dixon, is placed. He is the second closest to Rick, the main character. This could mean that Rick trusts Daryl the most. It also could mean that Daryl may have a bigger role in the upcoming season compared to the characters.
