Meetings begin as one-hour discussion time between Graduate Coordinator for LGBTQ Programs, QUMBC's Membership Liaison, and Freedom Alliance's President. Within 6 months, meetings grow to 2-hour, weekly collaborative sessions with 6 regular attendees. Within 1 year, a dozen student leaders are regularly attending, and the QLC plays a pivotal role in the functioning of the Queer Student Lounge.
