At this time,Leonardo purses his studies of anatomy with Marcanotonio della Torre.His early anatomical studies dealt chiefly on skeletons and muscles.His earlier dissections and drawings were of animals.He later acquired his first human skull in 1489.

Leonardo worked in Rome, Bologna and Venice.He spent his last years in France at a home awarded by Francis I. Leonardo at the age of 67 he died on May 2,1519.He was buried in the church of Saint-Florentin.The church was later ruined during the French Revolution.
