On this date a site emergency was called at 12:28 AM. this was the first SAE called in the US since 1991. It was indicated that 3 of the 185 control rods were not fully inserted triggerng the emegency. The plants instruments indicated that only 1 control rod was inserted wrong not 3. The emergency ended at 4:27 AM with no damage or release of radioactivity.
