    Also known as the Reichstag fire, the german Parliament was burnt down mysteriously. Hitler and the nazis blame the communists. They described the fire as the work of the Communists and a signal for their planned uprising.

It is called "The night of Broken Glass," for the shattered glass from the store windows that littered the streets.
