    It was one of the peace treaties made after world war 1. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. The treaty made Germany pay lump sums of money and made them pay for all the trouble they had caused and in turn Germany had suffered a lot.

    On 15 March 1939, German troops marched into Czechoslovakia and they took over Bohemia. Hitler wanted Slovakia to become an independant country.The occupation ended with the surrender of Germany following World War II.

    It was an important battle during world war 2. It was between Belgium, the UK and France on one side and on the side was Germany alone and it took place in Dunkirk in France. The War Office made the decision to evacuate British forces on 25 May. In the nine days from 27 May–4 June, 338,226 men escaped, including 139,997 French, Polish, and Belgian troops, together with a small number of Dutch soldiers.

    Italy enters the war on axis side consisting of Germany and Japan, and now Italy. Germany had control over most of continental Europe; Italy had control over the Mediterranean Sea; and Japan had control over East Asia and the Pacific.

    After it had began, the Nazi's were set to take Moscow by October. One week into the German invasion, 150,000 Soviet soldiers were either dead or wounded. As the German armies attacked further, one million Soviet troops were to protect Kiev. But despite Stalin's ruthless order forbidding any city to surrender, Kiev fell and 600,000 Soviet soldiers were captured. By October 1941, three million Soviet soldiers were prisoners of war.

    It was a suprise military action strike by the Japanese to the Americans in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii. The attack led the United States being brought into World War2. The attack commenced at 7;48am Hawaain time and the base was attacked by 353 Japanese fighters which led to 2,403 Americans were killed and 1,178 others were wounded.

    In response to the unprovoked attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese the day before, the US declare war on Japan. It happened after Italy and Germany declared war on the United States. The UK declared war on Japan nine hours before the US did, partially due to Japanese attacks on Malaya, Singapore and Hong Kong, and partially due to Winston Churchill's promise to declare war "within the hour" of a Japanese attack on the United States.

    Japanese take Singapore

    It took place from 1942 to 1945, following the fall of the British colony on 15 February 1942, following the fall of the British colony on 15 February 1942. Japan took control over Singapore and was renamed Syonan-to, meaning light of the South. Singapore was officially returned to British colonial rule on 12 September 1945, following the formal signing of the surrender instrument

    It was one of the most important naval battles of World War II. This battle was fought between the United States of America and the Japanese Empire. It occured only six months after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor, the US defeated the Japanese, it was their first naval defeat since 1863. It ended in approximatley 3364 deaths.

    It was a battle of the Western Desert Campaign of the Second World War, fought on the northern coast of Egypt between the Axis forces Germany and Italy and Alliess Britain, British India, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. The battle forced the Axis into Egypt but a second Battle of El Alamein would be required to drive the Axis armies out of Egypt for good.

    The Battle of Stallingrad was a battle the took place over 6 months between Germany and its axis and The Soviet Unio, for the power of the city Stalingrad. This battle is known for one of the most bloodiest battle in warefare history. By the beginning of February 1943, the Axis forces in Stalingrad had exhausted their ammunition and food. The remaining elements of the 6th Army (a german army) surrendered.

Codenamed Operation Overlord, the battle began on June 6, 1944, also known as D-Day, when some 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily fortified coast of France’s Normandy region.

    It was a major German offensive campaign. Hitler planned the offensive with the primary goal to recapture the important harbour of Antwerp. The suprise attack caught the Allies completely off guard. The result was a decisive allied victory over a German operational failure.

    Mussolini and his mistress Clara Petacci were caught by two communuists on 27 April 1945, near the village of Dongo (Lake Como), as they headed for Switzerland to board a plane to escape to Spain. They were both shot, the shootings took place in the small village of Giulino di Mezzegra.

    Adolf Hitler committed suicide by gunshot on 30 April 1945 in his Führerbunker in Berlin. His wife Eva also commited suicide with him by the intake of cyanide. Accounts differ as to the cause of death; one states that he died by poison only[g] and another that he died by a self-inflicted gunshot while biting down on a cyanide capsule.
