    Nicolaus Copernicus was born in February 19,1473 in Torun Poland. In 1508 Nicolaus Copernicus had begun to create his model of the planetary system, explaining that the sun instead of our earth was the center of the universe. He also was the last surviving of the original 7 US astronauts from Project Mercury. The Apollo 11 project was competing against the Soviet Union in putting people on the moon.     The Hubble Space Telescope was lunched in April 4, 1990 from the space shuttle Discovery. The length of the Hubble is 43.5 feet which i personally found pretty cool. Another fact about the Telescope that its energy source is the sun and that it has 2 25 foot solar panels. The Hubble has made 1.3 million since it started back in 1990.
