Nicolaus Copernicus
Nicolaus Copernicus was born in February 19,1473 in Torun Poland. In 1508 Nicolaus Copernicus had begun to create his model of the planetary system, explaining that the sun instead of our earth was the center of the universe. John Glenn
Jhon was born Cambridge, Ohio in July 18, 1921. Jhon flew a total of 149 missions during WWII and the Korean war and was rewarded with medals and decorations. He also was the last surviving of the original 7 US astronauts from Project Mercury. sputnik
The sputnik was 23 inches in diameter and weighed around 184 pounds. At 500 miles up in the sky it went 18,000 miles per hr and circled the globe every 96 minutes. The sputnik broke up somewhere above the western states but no one ever found it . Apollo 11
was a US space flight which famously known Neil Armstrong was commander of the mission. On July 20,1969 Neil A. and Edwin Aldrin,Jr. became the 1st people to walk on the moon. The Apollo 11 project was competing against the Soviet Union in putting people on the moon. Hubble Space Telescope
The Hubble Space Telescope was lunched in April 4, 1990 from the space shuttle Discovery. The length of the Hubble is 43.5 feet which i personally found pretty cool. Another fact about the Telescope that its energy source is the sun and that it has 2 25 foot solar panels. The Hubble has made 1.3 million since it started back in 1990.

Space X was founded by Famously known Elon Musk. The headquarters of this whole thing is in Hawthorne, CA. Space X main mission is to enable human beings to become a space faring civilization. Mars Rovers
The space craft was launched in November 26,2011 from Cape Canaveral, FL. The rover had a 7-foot arm so it was able to pick up samples from the surface and cook them inside the rover. one of the rovers main mission is to prepare for human exploration.
