Automatic Dishwasher
Approximately 1988 my mother purchased an automatic dishwasher. No more hand washing stacks of dishes growing up. As an adult, I intend to always own a dishwasher. Image obtained from Vintage Photos. -
Automobile Motorola "bag phones"
Approximately 1995 I purchased an automobile bag phone. AT&T was my service provider for the phone. The "bag phone" allowed me to communicate with family and friends while away from home. Dial-Up Internet
Fall of 1998 I purchased a Gateway Computer and first logged onto the internet. I used a dial-up connection and AOL was my ISP. I also started pursuing a BSN the same year and it greatly impacted my learning. I can still hear the sound of the dial-up. Image obtained from Wikipedia. -
Debit Card

Barcode Medication Administration
When I first started working at St. Mary's Medical Center I was introduced to medication administration through the use of barcode scanning. Satellite High Speed Internet
