    Birth
    Joseph stalin was born on December 18, 1879 to Besarion Jughashvili, and Ketevan Geladze, in Gori, Georgia. Stalin as a child often got very sick and he contracted smallpox at the age of 7 which left permanent scars on his face. A few years later a carriage accident left his left arm slightly deformed. Stalin often got teased and picked on by the other village children, which left him to be cruel to other people who did not obey him.

World War 1 was important because it changed modern warfare caused a lot of bitterness among nations, which also greatly contributed to World War 2 years later.

    In 1920 the "18th Amendment forbade the manufacture, sale and transportation of intoxicating liquors because of personal and social problems" This law was ultimately a failure any people called bootleggers made alcohol themselves. In April of 1933 a law was passed to legalize the manufacture of alcohol. This event was important because it showed that the government made a wrong decision, and needed to change their rule.

Between 1878, when the amendment was first introduced in Congress, and August 18, 1920 allowed voting rights for women." This event is important because it was a big step forward for inequality in America.

Stalin believed that the Soviet Union was way behind agriculturally so he gave unrealistic amount of time for things to get done, "So they would not be crushed later on"

The way this conflict was resolved and is important is because, when prosperity restored, by the sharp reductions in spending, taxes and regulation at the end of World War II. Which ended the depression.

The Great Purge happened because Stalin believed anyone with ties to Bolsheviks or Lenin’s government was a threat to his leadership and needed to go."

World War 2 was important because it brought an end of German Third Reich, the United States and Russia become global superpower, and found the United Nations.

    Stalin established a reign of terror that included mass arrests, executions and deportations. He also rallied his troops to beat back a German invasion in some of the bloodiest fighting of World War II.

The Korean war was significant because "It helped set the tone for Soviet-American rivalry during the Cold War, profoundly shaping the world we live in today,"

    Joseph Stalin dies on March 5th 1953 in Kuntsevo Dacha having probably suffered a stroke that paralyzed the right side of his body. Stalin lived to be 74 years old.
