In ancient times my country was located in the middle east then the regions split up into too many countries so now my country is known as Jordan. The ethnic groups of the Middle East were *Semitic and *Hebrew People. The language of the middle east was *Arabic which is under the *Semetic category. The middle east's beliefs were *Polytheism because Jordan was in the middle east and was not declared a country at that time. -

Arabs invaded Jordan
*Arabs invaded *Jordan the year 600 CE bringing *Islam to *Jordan which affected its religion. Many *Arabs spread the religion *Islam and still do. They send missionaries to spread the religion of *Islam in the country of Jordan. -
Great Britain Conquered Jordan
In 1920 *Great Britain took over what we now know as *Jordan and affected the language. Great Britain introduced English to Jordan which was a big change to Jordan. Great Britain conquered Jordan and even though there's only a small quantity in Jordan today that speaks English its still a very big part of Jordans history. -
Jordan and Arabs in War with Israel
*Jordan and *Arabs joined a war together against *Israel in 1948 and many people from *Palestine were forced there during the war which brought *ethnicities to Jordan. The ethnicity brought to *Jordan was *Palestine's which now is a big part of ethnicity in *Jordan. -
Today
Today, while I was researching Jordan I saw that Jordan isn't a very diverse country. Today the main ethnicity of Jordan is the *Arabs and *Palestine people. The main language of Jordan is *Arabic but there is a small quantity of Jordan that speaks the language English. 45% of people in Jordan speak English because many of the Universities there are based on English which is not the only reason but a big part. The main religions practiced in Jordan are *Islam and *Christianity.
