The "All Clear" was sounded at 10:40am but at 11:52am, the lookout at HMAS Platypus(Her Majesty's Australian Ship) saw 54 Japanese high-altitude heavy bombers from bases at Ambon and Sulawesi.The attack lasted between 20-25 minutes. 297 people died and between 300-400 were wounded.

They were held in either prisoners of the Germans, in North Africa, Greece or Japan. -
Axis Power and Japan have surrended to the Allies which means WW2 has ended. But just remember no one wins the War!

Between 1945 and 1965 more than two million migrants came to Australia. The Commonwealth Government paid most of their fares. In return they had to stay in Australia for at least two years and work what ever jobs the government gave them.
