The four organisers of the 1971 Liberation War -- Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, M Mansur Ali, AHM Qamaruzzaman were assassinated in captivity by some Army officers. The incident took place 79 days after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members were killed on August 15, 1975. -
