The Iron Brigade was a combination of the 2nd, 6th, 7th Wisconsin, also the 19th Indiana, 4th U.S. Light Artillery, and the 24th Michagan.

Where were they from.

The bulk of the Brigade were from Wisconsin. The men from Wisconsin were volunteers. The Rest except the light artillary were volunteers aswell.

Gettsyburg

The battle waasd the brigades shining point. There orders were to charge and capture. which they capture to flag and the got James J. Archer and most of his men. the iron brigade was a sucsess.
