The war that happened between Iraq and the US happened between years of March 20, 2003 - December 15, 2011. Iraq was led by the United States to overthrow the Iraqi government under Hussein/his dictatorship. Kuwait was attacked by Iraq in 1990 and later on, was defeated by the US. The 9/11 incident was the final act of the US attacking Iraq as well. Though, the US still supported the war after 9/11. About 275,000 Iraqis have died in the war and their rights have been violated in many ways.
