At 4:45 A.M., Jon Krakauer and his team begin their climb to camp one on Everest. At 10:00 A.M., he and his team descended from camp one toward base camp, and at approximately 12:00 P.M. Krakauer suffers from a migraine.

Krakauer and his team arrive at camp one for the second time at 9:00 A.M.

Jon and the team arrive at camp two. Jon explores the camp, and finds two frozen bodies.

After climbing to camp two, the team returns to base camp.

At 4:30 A.M. Jon and fellow climber Andy Harris depart from base camp for the last time, headed for the summit.

At 10:30 A.M. Jon Krakauer arrives at camp two and waits for the rest of the climbers to arrive.

Around 12:00 P.M. Jon reaches camp 3 on Everest, where he plans to stay before climbing to high camp

Jon reaches the summit of Everest at 1:12 PM.

At 11:00 A.M. Jon reaches the South Summit, where he waits to pass the large group of climbers near him.

At 3:30 P.M., Jon leaves the South Summit headed down the mountain. He, according to a fellow pilot, is walking straight down into a storm.

At 7:30 P.M., Jon returns to Camp 4 completely safely-a remarkable feat considering the very little amount of oxygen that he had in his regulator

Not far from camp four, an oxygen deprived Krakauer believes he sees Andy Harris scoot down a steep slope and run toward camp. However, the next day, Harris is missing.

After he reaches camp, Jon stays in his tent while the storm continued. Another climber asks him to help shine lights and bang pots in an attempt to guide others to camp, but Jon stays in his tent.

Jon and his team depart for the summit at at midnight. At 5:30 AM, they reach the Southeast ridge.

With many people dead, Jon and the team begin to head toward base camp.

Early Monday morning, Jon leaves the tents and walks to the Western Cwm in search for a sutable helicopter landing pad.

Finally, Jon reaches base camp. He ends up weeping over the dead.

Jon gets on the plane to go home. When he reaches the airport, Doug Hansen's family makes him even more aware of his guilt.
