By this time we see the Amazon jungle disappear at a rate of a football field a minute. The rate of deforestation is at an insanely fast pace. The rate of deforesation has only inscreaed since then.

In the 1990's Amazon forests has been marked so people could differenrated between the Amazonion Indian territory and what is open forest area. Which protects their homes and prevents more deforestation.

Today, we are more knkowledgeable and informed on our mistakes in the Amazon jungle. We know more of our harmful actions. There has been many more laws and restrictions implemented. We are constantly putting efforts in reducing our deforestation rates and saving the Amazon forest from its death.
