    The Phillippines fight back against the spanish and cause a revolution. The war was known as the Tagalong war.
  • Declaring Independence

    Emilio Aguinaldo is appointed as the president of Malolos Republic. The Phillipines appoint him in an attempt to become independent.
  • Treaty of Paris ends War

    By the end of the War the phillipines now belonged to the U.S. The phillipines were not included in the say who got the territory.They were taken advantage of.
  • War on US

    The Phillipines wanted their own independence and not to be owned by any other country. This made them declare War on US for there independence.
  • Aguinaldo is Captured

    The president of the Phillipines is captured by the US. Aguinaldo is forced to pledge allegiance to the US government.

    US sets up a small Gornement type thing in the Phillippines. An upper house called the Phillipine Commision and the lower house called the Phillipine Assembly including Americans and Philippines.
