    In 2018 there were 163,176 candidates

    Extrapolation shows that around the year 2045, if trends continue, there will be one million IB candidates

    All students worldwide share the IB Curriculum as world shares common educational setup. This follows exponential growth from attached spreadsheet and would have 4.7 billion students - a near impossibility that demonstrates the flaws of a system continuing the way it has been - trends do not continue without limit.
