I would love to see students from different continents working on the same IA and being able to submit their IA as a group rather than individual -
Connections to Other DP Sciences
! would like to see formal connections made between ESS and other sciences -Biology (obviously with Ecology and Classification Units), Chemistry (water testing), Physics (energy transfer in ecosystems). Science is becoming increasing integrated and I believe our future scientists need to be much more mindful of all the science disciplines. -
Design & Modelling of Local & Global Solutions
Using an integrated Science approach, I would like the students to identify a real life issue and be assessed on their design of a practical solution. This would empower student agency and make the course more interesting and relevant.
