    On 539 BC battle of Opis between Persia and the Neo-Babylonian empire.
    Cyrus had a cylinder of 45 lines, mainly about his battle history. The cyliner / book was not intact when found.

    Magna Carta
    King John, king of England signed the document Magna Carta. Was a king during a difficult time, and he killed many people etc. He had high taxes.
    Magna Carta means Great Paper in latin. Signed in 1805. The law was only over places the king ruled over.
    He was born in 1166 and died in 1216, !9th October.

    Born in 1769 in Corsica. Educated in a military school. In 1796 promoted to a commander of the french army.
    In 1785, officer in the French artillery. He was small, 5F6” and had to ride a pony instead of a horse.
    In 1774 he was put in jail for a military failure. The next year persian tried to over throw them but he killed them all.
    Believed that Napoleon died of stomach cancer or poisoning. Many statues of him today, one in Louvre.

    He was once a lawyer. He was born in India. He was born in w octo 1869. He married a 13 year old girl. Gandhi became a father at 15. He left to London to study law when he was 19. He was to shy so he didn’t work out as a lawyer. He went to South Africa to become a lawyer.

    First chairman of the UN. Made the first draft of the Universal Declaration of HR. The president H. Truman named her first lady of the the world.
    The UDHR consist of 30 HR, the doc is universal. In the first stage it was just a doc nothing more.

    Born in 1889 in Austria. He’s childhood was very unhappy. They moved to Linz and here he was learned how to kill pets and drinking alcohol. His dream to be a artist wasn’t a success.

    The reason that he hated jews was because German had pay Europe for the costs after WW1. Albert Einstein died because of him. He tried to conquer whole Europe and he taught German was a different race.
    WW2 changed the world completely. The declaration of HR came 4 years after WW2.

    The first black president of SA. His vision was that everyone will have equal right. Black people was discriminated in SA, but only 25 % was white. Born in 1918 in a village. His dad died in 1927. In 1937 he went to college. He ran away from his arranged marriage in 1938. In 1943 he went to ACI. In 1944 they made a youth. Married, but not very good. He had 4 sons, 1 alive. In 1960 people was complaining about the passlaw. Black people werent aloud to have passport. In 1961, NM went to Alger

    Died 1968.
    In 1957 he was elected President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. He traveled over 6. million miles and spoke over 25 hundred times. He wrote 5 books. All this in 11 years. He was shot dead on the evening of 4 April 1968 in Memphis. Rosa Parks was the first lady of Civil Rights. Born in 1913, died in 2005.
    W.E.B Du Bois was an intellectual leader. He was born in 1868 – 1963. He were an author and an editor. Malcolm X was a public speaker and HR activists.
