    Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr.Seuss was born on March 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was grown up in a normal family, his father and grandfather where brew masters in the city, and his mother Henrietta was a housewife.

Dr. Seuss’s popular books have been translated into over 20 languages and several have been made into television cartoons and major motion pictures. Therefor not only the U.S children but also most of the children in the world had a chance to take advantages of Dr. Seuss’s works.

    Dr. Seuss’s works had been nominated for commendations award several times included an Academy Award for best documentary short subject of 1945 for his writing and production of the propaganda piece Your Job in Germany. He also wrote GerlandMcBoing-Boing, that won a 1951 Oscar- for Best cartoon. Seuss was awarded an honorary Pulitzer Prize in 1984 citing his half-century influence on “the education and enjoyment of America’s children and their parents.
