  • Intake of food through oral cavity

    One will begin to chew and break down food with the help of enzymes.

  • Swallow Food

    One will then swallow food/drink through the oral cavity down their esophagus.

  • Stomach begins breakdown and processing

    The food begins processing in the stomach. Nutrients are extracted and wastes and passed on to the small intestine.

  • Small Intestine, Large Intestine, & Anus

    Waste passes through the small intestine, large intestine, and comes out the anus. Liquid comes out the urethra.
