    issued by King George lll after the Treaty of Paris formally ended the 7 Years War and gave French land in North America to the British. It helped unite the colonists with a shared sense of hate for the new British policy. It also divided the colonies and Great Britain for not letting people settle in the area over the Appalachian mountains.
