  • The Treaty of Paris

    The treaty of Paris ended the French & Indian war that had lasted for 7 years.The French gave East of the Missippi
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering act was giving the British soldiers the full and complete rights to live in a colonist house tax free and the colonist had to feed and keep the Birtish soldier warm.
  • Boston Massacure

    The Boston Massacure was the major turning point in the colonies because it was the first time that the British had fired on colonist at this point.The Boston Massacure made colonist very worried about the British soldiers now useing force to get what they want done.The Boston Massacre was the the worst British on colonist attack to be recorded yet at the date.
  • The Sons Of Liberty

    The sons of liberty was a radicals group that boycotted any act that Britain put out and set up protests and set up tarring the loyalist workers that tried to enforce the intolerable acts and other laws and taxes.
  • King George 3rd

    King George put five acts into play 1 the Boston act 2 the mass government act 3 justice act 4 2nd quartering act and 5 the Quebec act,which were all put in order because of the Boston tea party dumping 1-3 million dollars worth of tea in Boston harbor turning the harbor brown for a couple of days.The acts caused a loss in money,the creation of the Sons of liberty,the increase in troop presence in Boston, and the arrest of any rebels.

    The 1st congressional congress were almost a group for the colonist that wanted to be leaders that asked what rights did they want and how were they going to fight for them.The congressional congress started the boycotts and most of the protests.

    This was the people who inspect custom houses and tried to avoid making the colonist angry and turning into mobs,making situations violent.
  • The battle of Lexington and Concord

    The battle of Lexington was basically the first conflict between e British and the colonist that actually had heavy casualties for both sides.This conflict made the colonial leaders rethink what they were going to do calling another meeting with the 2nd continental congress 1775-1776.
