the Sugar Act was made to raise money from the colonies to help pay Britain's debt and to fund a standing army in Colonial America. Along with this though a lot of things were taxed like numerous foreign products, including wine, coffee, and textiles. Also, they banned the direct shipment of several important commodities such as lumber to Europe, upsetting the balance of trade for merchants in Northern seaports. This caused lots of disruption, anger, confusion, etc within the community.

The Stamp Act and Sugar Act were both created primarily for the same reason... and that was to raise money for Britain and the army, but after it passed the Stamp Act required colonists to pay taxes on every page of printed paper they used. The tax also included fees for playing cards, dice, and newspapers. The Stamp Act brought the colonies together by not holding kings/ rulers to this higher power and making them pay for something.

Townshend Acts, which initiated taxes on glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. They did this because they needed to help pay the expenses involved in governing the American colonies, Parliament passed the Townshend Act. this brought the colines together by paying off debt making thing less hard for the community.

The Tea Act was an opportunity that granted the British East India Company Tea, a monopoly on tea sales in the American colonies. This was mainly passed to help the East India Company. This gave Colines a taste of taxes and inflation.

The Quebec Act was an attempt to deal with major questions... that had arisen during the attempt to make the French colony of Canada a province of the British Empire in North America. This was an attempt at expanding and adding to the colines, but also answering important questions.

This act was where they cut off all trade with the 13 colonies and removed them from the king's protection. They did this because it was an attempt to retaliate against the spreading rebellion. this limited the colines but it also was a forceful way to make them collaborate with each other.

The Quartering Act was passed primarily in response to greatly increased empire defense costs in America following the French and Indian War and Pontiac's War. This act allowed Great Britain soldiers in American barracks and public houses. This gave soldiers help and shelter to recharge and this act was a way to bring the colines together by supporting their soldiers
