    The 20's was a time of fun, money and party. Everyone wanted to invest in the stock market they thought it was a way to "get rich quick". Everyone was investing in the stock market... using the form buying on margin! That meant that they had created a false economy. Money they didn't really have. It all looked so good on paper but with everyone investing in the stock market it drove the prices lower and lower. Leading up to the stock market crashing world wide on October 29,1929.
  • Enableing act

    The enableing act was the law that allowed Hitler to rule Nazi Germany.This law declared Hitler to be allowed to rule for 4 years alone!! This act gave Hitler the power to make his own laws... SO he banned all other parties, making him the full ruler of Germany!

    Canada had a Federal election on October 14, 1935. This was to see who was going to be the new ruler of Canada. This was a very bad time to be prime minister. You are taking control during a depression and they do not know what is coming up in a few years. This election was between re-electing R. B. Bennett and W. L. Mackenzie King and some other small political parties. This was an important election because citizens wanted to see change. So their new leader is William Lyon Mackenzie King.

    This was a massive air trainning project located in Canada to provide Britain with air crew for WWII. 231 sites and 360 schools created.Tens and thousands of Canadaians and other men from all over the world came to these camps just to train. This project also created many new jobs on the home front.

    There had to be something on the allies side! They were an hour from death and an hour from Germany's win! BUT that hour made the difference... As the allied forces were trapped along the harbour of Dunkirk the thickest fog rolled in! Because Germany was planning an air attack this fogged stopped them. All 350,000 allied troops were saved and relocated to Brittan soil. The citizens of Britains were the heros in this cause.

    In 1942 Hitler and the Nazi's had a plan to exterminate all Jews and other raises, making their be one master raise left & having a Nazi controlled Eurpoe. They killed approxamitly 6 million Jewish people. At this time they had almost wipped all of the Jewish population in the east side of the world.

    This battle was fought on the northern coast of France, and was a lose for the allied forces. This battle taught them how to stage a proper invasion, and would come in handy to plan for the battle of D-Day.

    This battle was in charge by the allied forces. They needed to get a foot down on the main land of Europe and that is what they did. This battle was the first successful attempt of doing so, 155 000 allied soldiers took part. It was the turn point of the war!

    On April 30, 1945 Adolf Hitler and his wife commit suicide in their house. After Hitker say what the people did to italys ruler he did not want that to happen to him. SO he and his wife killed themselves and got one of Hitlers wing man to bull the place3 up along with all the remains of their bodies.
