Mar 3, 1814 First missionary set up a church and school Mar 3, 1815 Traders gathering and selling flax. They gathered and sold from 1815 to 1831 Mar 3, 1820 Whalers based themseleves and hunted whales for bone and oil. Mar 4, 1825 The first maori were converted to christians. Mar 3, 1850 All the whales had been killed off.
