  • First Propelled Vehicle

    First Propelled Vehicle
    Nicolas- Joseph Cugnot built the first self- propelled car. It was a steam powered vehicle with three wheels and a went 2.5 mph. It was originally built for the army.
  • First Electric Automobile

    First Electric Automobile
    In 1842, both Thomas Davenport and Robert Anderson invented electrical cars. They used non-chargeable batteries for the automobile. This later lead to another electric car being developed with rechargeable batteries which were a big step up for the environment.
  • First Gas Automobile

    First Gas Automobile
    During New Years Eve, Karl developed his two-stroke engine. This was put into the first gasoline car. He also has developed the spark plug, carburetor, speed regulation system, clutch, gear shift, and the water radiator. All in which he later patented.
  • Ford Model T was created

    Ford Model T was created
    In 1908, Henry Ford created the Model T car. He then went on to develop the production line. They production line was a HUGE step for the economy. This meant that every mass produced item would be created a lot faster. Because of this, they sold millions of cars and became one of the biggest car makers today.
  • Tesla was Established

    Tesla was Established
    In 2003, Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning made the electric motor company Tesla. But it was not publicly available until 2010. In 2005, Tesla signed a contract with Lotus to make an electric roadster with a Lotus body style. They continue to make cars with better motors and features till today. Tesla is the biggest electric car group in the United States and don't have a thought of stopping this massive train. They have cut down pollution by using electric engines instead of gasoline motors.
