    First Robotics Competition
    The First Robotics Competition is a national progam that challenges teams of students and their mentors to solve a common problem in a six week time frame. The competition waas held from March 29-31. The team must use a standard "kit of parts" and a common set of rules. The competittion has grown to more than 1,000 teams competing in 23 regional events.

    On July 1,2009, a presentation was held at Bron Research Institute near Lyon, France,part of EU-funded Robot Cub Project. The icb robot is about the same size as a three year old child. The robot has highly skilled hands and fully articulated heads and eyes. They have hearing and touch capabilities and are designed to sit crawl on all fours an to sit up.

A fews teams were scrimmaging ,using their First Robotics Competition robots from the previous years. They played a 2v2 team,and the winner was whoever passed more soccer balls through their teams goalboxes.

The event took place on the ground of Floriade 2012. The field robot event shows a vision of our future with plenty of modern precision agriculture. A new generation of robots will soon be able to carry at different forms or tasks such as weeding,spraying, and disease monitoring.
