This is an estimation because my mom didn't write down when I first read! I am certain that this is the approximate time frame and the exact book. I am not sure why this book was so fascinating to me- I knew who my mother was- but I think it might have been the pictures and rhyming throughout the book.

I found a third printing of Gone with the Wind at a thrift shop. The owner didn't know what he had! The first copy of the book was printed in May of 1936; this copy was printed in September of 1936.

Third times a charm, or so I thought. Even though I read during my first two pregnantcies, neither of my older children had a love of reading. I had high hopes for this one, my last chance for success.
