    Nursing is Official
    In the early 1700s, after ties with religious organizations were cut off, nursing officially began,where the first hospital opened in Philadelphia. But because the hospitals did not receive proper funding from local governement from fear of spreading disease to the wealthy, this lead to the undertraining of nurses and unhygenic conditions at the hospital.
