    The CD (or compact disc) was first invented in 1976, and the first albums on CD were released in 1982. However they didn't become very popular until about 1990.

    The ipod touch was made in 2005 but sold to public in 2007. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak invented it and it was made in the U.S.A. However the IPOD was created in China.
