The assassination was overlooked by government authorities, which had caused an uproar in the African American community. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted children of all races to attend school together so that colored children would attend school together.

    Diana vs. California State board
    This court case allowed for children to be tested in their native language to measure their intelligence. This case was was intended to stop the ill misconception that people who don't speak english aren't smart. The reality of bad test scores is due to a language barrier.

    Even though African Americans were allowed to go to white schools they weren't easily accessible. This law allowed for a chance to earn a better education in a better environment since funding comes from the neighboring homes income. Busing allowed easier accessibility and a better chance for a better life.

    The Tribally Controlled Community College Act
    This act allowed for Indian community colleges to earn more money, due to how poorly the community is doing. This act was in hopes of providing this community a better chance to earn a better education and in-turn better employment.

    Proposition 187
    Proposition 187 was created to retaliate at the primarily hispanic immigrants entering the United States illegally. Denying benefits to the hispanic community, while children would be allowed to attend school, immigrants were unable to call the police or receive health care.     The IASA created higher standards and had method to try to keep certain schools accountable for the lack of test scores. This School act should have tried to encompass the different struggles that children may have faced while attending. This act also made schools violence and drug free.

    This supreme court ruling found that children should be able to attend any school they desired regardless of race. This law was able to bypass the integration laws that had been previously set in Seattle.

    The attempt to rid of affirmative action is firmly denied by the supreme court but this is only due to the students weak case. Since the student hadn't met UT schools admission requirements in the first place.

    This presidential act goes beyond everyday average life, but also enters our children's schools. Children that are transgender are put in more danger if they may not fit the stereotypical gender roles and are forced to enter their undesired restroom.
