    The first compact cellphone was made in 1997. It was the Nokia 6110. It had features such as clock, calendar, and calculator. 4 colour that you can see on the screen and a currency converter.

    The first flip phone was released by Motorola in 1997. It was called the Motorola StarTAC. This phone was actually inspired by star trek.

  • The first phone with a keyboard

    The blackberry 850 was the first cell phone with a keyboard. Yes, other phones did have a keypad with letters on numbers however this phone had a legitimate keyboard with all the letters.

    in the year 2000 the Nokia 3310 was released. It was said to be "one of the best cell phones". Of course this was at that time as we have come a long way with cell phones now.

  • The first "Iphone"

    There were other phones apple has made or had a contribution in making before making the Iphone 3g. This was the first phone to really push the idea of applications to millions of consumers.
