A horrible flood destroyed the weir causing it to have to be repaired. 1.5 Tonnes of rock were removed from the area. -
The weir was damaged again
Heavy rainfall caused another flood that washed away and destroyed the timber decking and the rock fill. -
A fishway was built
People noticed that the weir was stopping fish from migrating from the fresh water to the salt water. A stone fishway was built to let the fish past, but the fish still had trouble getting through -
Dights Falls was updated and a new fishway was built.
Dights Falls was finally completed and a more efficient fishway was built.
