    The first steam powered flour mill was constructed in Melbourne
  • Flour Mill was Destroyed By Fire

    The Flour Mill was destroyed in a fire all the ashes and rubble was left at Dights Falls.
  • The first repair

    The first repair to be doccumented at Dights Falls was at this time.
  • Weir damaged in flood

    A horrible flood destroyed the weir causing it to have to be repaired. 1.5 Tonnes of rock were removed from the area.
  • The weir was damaged again

    Heavy rainfall caused another flood that washed away and destroyed the timber decking and the rock fill.
  • A fishway was built

    People noticed that the weir was stopping fish from migrating from the fresh water to the salt water. A stone fishway was built to let the fish past, but the fish still had trouble getting through
  • Dights Falls was updated and a new fishway was built.

    Dights Falls was finally completed and a more efficient fishway was built.
