    Eventually Melbourne settled in 1835, shortly after making the first sales and the land being sub-divided.
  • Purchased John Dight

    Block 88 was purchased in 1839 by a man named John Dight who was in the flour mill industry.
  • John Dight moved to Port Phillip

    His flour mill buisness was up and running for a year than he decided to move to Port Phillip.
  • First Steamed Flour Mill was constructed

    After the First Steamed Flour Mill was created, later on Dight build his Water Powered Mill.
  • Wooden Weir was built

    In 1895, a Wooden Weir was built, but later proven in-efficient because it is unlikely to retain underwater.
  • Rock-Fishway was constructed

    In 1993, the rock-fishway was constructed but was proven in-efficient recently.
  • New Fishway and Weir Constucted

    In 2010, a new fishway was built and the old weir replaced due to its lack of reliablility.
