    Calvin published the "Institutes of the Christian Religion" in his attempt in simplifying the theories of Protestantism. He believed God decided who went o heaven not people. He lived in Geneva for a little until anti-Protestant forced him to leave in 1538. He was invited back in 1541, and when he return from Germany, where he had been staying, he became an important spiritual and political leader. In 1555 he became supremacy as the leader of Geneva. He also made a religious goverment.
