    This event was a huge for African Americans in education. It showed all African Americans that change was happening and education was becoming more and more equal. Through court cases like this this showed white people that African Americans deserve the same education as they did.
  • The W.E.B. DuBois Era

    The W.E.B. DuBois Era
    This era was a stepping-stone for the African Americans. DuBois fought for equal schooling for African Americans and thought they should get a traditional liberal arts education like the whites did. This stepping-stone helped to make African Americans be treated equally.

    These standards gave the education program a list of standards that were expectations of students and teachers. These standards also prepared students were going to go onto college or go into the workforce.
