  • First Film Ever Made

    This was the first film ever made. It was a stop motion film of a galloping horse. There were 16 frames, in black and white that were played in a loop. This set the standard for film making and from that point on people were constantly working to improve film making. It was 5 seconds long.

  • The Sneze

    This as one of the best stop motion films of its time. They used newly designed cameras to capture, "Fred Ott's Sneeze." This was said to be the most fluent stop motion film of its time, it actually looks like a video. Taken at about 16 frames per second. It was only 5 seconds long.

  • 1st Action Film

    It was the first action and western film of its time. It was only about 12 minutes long, which was a very deal back then. This film was considered a milestine, it inspired the western genre of movies. It had a budget of about $150 which was considered expensive back then.

  • First animated Cartoon

    The first animated cartoon was called "Fsntasmagorie." It is the first example of traditional animation. It originated from France. It was composed of over 700 different drawings, using the same charater. He drew a character acting out many crazy random things.

    Was concsidered the first feature lenght movie sequel.It was a silent and black and white movie.This film is considered lost. This film had a musical score,its budget was $31,000.

  • 1st 3D Film

    "The Power of Love," an american silent film and the very first 3-D feture film that went world wide. Later on the 3-D film was lost and never found, so a 2-D film was published and named "Forbiden Lover." As of now, the status of the 2-D film is also unknown. Both films were lost and we sre unsure if they still exist.

    "The jazz singer," was the first film that featured sound. It was unlike any film of its time. It had a sequenced dialouge. It was an american musical. It started the deline of the silent film era.

    This was a very popular film in its time. It revolutionized western films and set very high standards. It was 161 minutes long. Its budget was $1,200,000. It grossed $6,100,000.

    "The Adventures of Prince Achned," was the first animated and color film. Its a German animated fariytale film, and was shot as a silent film.This film feture a silhouette animation skills and were animated by frame. It was released on DVD in 2002.

    This was the first color film of its time. It was one of the first full legenth movies that was released. It was made in 2 languages. It was 84 minutes long.It had a budget of $950,000.

    "The Pirates of the Caribbean:At World's End" was one of the most expensive films ever published made to date. Its budget was $300 million.This film was released in 2007.On its worldwide opening it groosed $344 million, making it the seventh-largest opening.

  • The Godfather

    This movie revolutionized in drama. It was 175 minutes long. It was also a crime movie. The budget was $6,000,000. The movie grossed about $134,821,952.
