    This plan was used to place the British North American colonies under a more centralized government. This was led by Benjamin Franklin.
  • American Revolution

    It was a colonial revolt. The American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies had won independence from Great Britain, becoming the United States of America.
    Britain had wanted the American colonies to help pay for things. The british had passed on new laws that had made the colonist pay more taxes on tea, sugar, and other things. The colonists wanted independence from britain because they thought the was getting treated unfairly.
