Hindus believes that a soul is reborn over and over until it reaches moksha which is a form of an afterlife. The paths of achiveing these are the path of right thinking, the path of right action, and the path of religious devotion. -

Jainism was created by Nataputta Mahavira. He founded Jainism because he be lived the everything has a soul and should therefore should not be harmed. Jainism has over 4 million followers and most are located in India. -

Buddhism
Buddhism was created by Siddhartha Gautama with the purpose of reaching nirvana and enlightenment. Nirvana is the Buddha's word for release from selfishness and pain and to reach Nirvana one must follow the Eightfold Path. This usually occurs over many lifetimes. -

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion, and the basic Sikh belief is represented in the phrase Ik Onkar meaning “One God.” It was founded by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Sikhism has approximately 20 million followers worldwide.
