    SCIENCE AS SOCIAL KNOWLEDGE
In her book " Science as Social Knowledge" she wrote that science should be understood to be a social practice. Social nature of science goes to the very core of science practice not only through the context of discovery, those things that lead to initial discovery of a theory or entity but also the context of justification. Those practices that determine the viability of a theory or existence of an entity.

To account for this fact, feminist epistemologists contended that the standards for judging who deserves credibility and authority as an expert are social constructions that help to reinforce the political and economic status quo. And because so many people’s experience, reasoning, and testimony are discounted, feminist epistemologists are skeptical that science and the philosophy of science are as objective as they purport to be.
