Helen Longino's first book "Science as Social Knowledge: Values and Objectivity in Scientific Inquiry" was published in 1990. In her book she had argued that the relevance of social values that the justifications of scientific knowledge as an objective. Longino discovered that many scientist were using social values as a way to determine scientific data, so she used the same values and applied it to Feminist Epistemology.
