    In the beginning when Harry was just a baby his parents where killed by Voldemort, he also tried to kill Harry, but the spell rebounded onto himself. Therefore Harry is known as the boy who lived. Harry is unknowing about this for the majority of his childhood. He has been told that both of his parents died in a car accident.

    After his parents passed Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall finds him and both his parents dead. Albus wanted to take the role as his guardian, but was told not to. Therefore they left him to his only remaining family. The muggle family Dursley consisting of aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, andDudley. They are made highly unlikeable as they treat Harry badly. And Dudley being very spoiled and unthankful. Harry had to sleep in a tiny room with barely enough room to stand up under the staircase.

    When Dudley's 11th birthday rolls around the Dursley's and Harry went on a trip to the zoo. After they had been there for a while Harry accidentally removes the glass window to the snake pen, letting the snake free. After this he starts magically talking to the snake for a little while, and the snake thanks him for it. Harry leaves the zoo that day baffled with zero answers or explanation
  • The letters from Hogwarts

    The letters from Hogwarts
    Around this date Harry starts receiving his first letters from Hogwarts the magical school of wizardry asking if he wants to start going to school there. The first letter Uncle Vernon simply burns in the fireplace. But the letters would not stop coming at that point. More and more letters arrive in the form of eggs delivered by the milkman, and normally. In the days that follows nothing changes, more letters arrive and Uncle Vernon keeps burning them.

    The letters do not stop coming in the mail, and after a while it snaps for Uncle Vernon, and he decides that it is best for the family that they stay somewhere else for a while until the letters starts to calm down. This leads to them driving around in Britain for a while until they decide to stay in a hut on a rock in the middle of nowhere. However this would not be the end of Hogwarts seeking out Harry. So when midnight rolls around Hagrid knocks on the door, and him a birthday cake, and more.

    Birthday cake was not everything that Hagrid brought to Harry that day. He also told him the truth about how his parents died, that his scar in his forehead is connected to Voldemort casting the death spell on him and inviting him to join Hogwarts.

    These events leaves Harry at the train station where it says that he needs to go to platform nine and three-quarters to reach the school. This naturally leaves Harry pretty baffled, and leads to him asking strangers where this platform is located at, with no more helpful reply than laughter. So he does not have any great idea of what to do. Lucky for him a helpful Molly Weasley tells him that all he has to do is run straight into the metal barrier.

    Harry being hesistant at first, decides to run through the barrier and lo and behold there was the platform, with all the other magic families saying goodbye to their kids. When they are sitting on the train Harry meets multiple members of the Weasley family including Ron Weasley. They immediately hit it off and become good friends and share a compartment. He also meets Draco and Hermione, but they do not get along as well. While aboard the train Harry also buys a significant amount of candy.

    Before being able to engage in normal school activities all of the new students have to be sorted by the sorting hat into one of four houses. Hufflepuff the house of the loyal and fair, Gryffindor the house of daring and brave, Ravenclaw the house of the wise or Slytherin the house of the cunning and ambitious. Harry ends up being sorted into Gryffindor after telling the hat that he really does not want to go to Slytherin. Subsequent to being sorted Harry had his first feast at the school.

    After Harry's first quidditch lesson Draco challenges him to a duel in the trophy room, because of their not too pleasant previous encounters. But Draco has no intent of showing up to duel Harry he only wants Harry to get caught walking outside of his room at night. Harry unknowing of this show up at the trophy room, but Draco is nowhere to be seen. When Filch comes searches for them after being tipped off by someone that Harry is out of bed. They are forced to run away from the trophy room.

    Fluffy surprise after the Duel
    The kids not really thinking too much about where they are heading when they are trying to run away from Filch end up in a forbidden third floor corridor when they open a door, and there is a huge dog with three heads. The kids run off, and Hermione notes down that the dog seemed to be guarding some sort of trap door.
  • Spooky Halloween

    The time is Halloween, and the school is gathering together to feast, and Harry is enjoying his time until the feast is abruptly interrupted by dark arts teacher Quirrel telling about a troll in the bathroom who almost kills Hermione, if it was not for Ron and Harry. After this event they all get along much better and become good friends. While Ron and Harry rebury saving Hermione Quirrel tries to go for the Philosopher's stone, but Snape stops him.

    For Harry's first Christmas at Hogwarts he gets a working invisibility cloak with an anonymous letter that said it used to belong to his father, and a letter that says "use it well". Later that night Harry walks into an abandoned classroom to not get caught by Filch. This is where he discovered the Mirror of Erised. When he looks in the mirror he sees his own family for the first time. He later discusses the mirror with Albus, and he tells him that the mirror shows the persons deepest desires.
  • The gang follows Quirrell down a trap door

    The gang follows Quirrell down a trap door
    When the gang finds out that Dumbledore is away from school and unable to warn McGonnagal of the danger, they decide to take matter into their own hands and go down the trap door from earlier to protect the philosopher's stone themselves. They meet fluffy again, however this time they make him go fast asleep by playing a tune on the wooden flute Hagrid gave Harry for Christmas. They go down the trapdoor and are met by a potion puzzle.

    Harry goes through to the next chamber
    Hermione figures out the logic in the riddle, and finds out what potion to use to go back and send a warning to Albus, and which one Harry needed to drink to safely walk through the black flames and go further down alone. When he arrives in the room he finds the dark arts teacher Quirrel down there using the mirror to try to locate the stone, but it shows Harry. Realizing it is because Harry has the stone Quirrel tries to take the stone from him, but when his skin comes in contact with Harry's..
  • Voldemort

    Voldemort
    .. His skin burns and reveals that it has been Voldemort controlling him. Voldemort has Quirrel cast the death spell on Harry but Harry fights back, and touch Voldemort's face causing them great pain, but allowing Dumbledore to arrive and help and save the day thanks to Hermione's warning earlier.
