The attacks were sophisticated, and the timeing was so well coordinated that they stunned U.S. officials. They Haqquni Network claimed responsibility for they attacks.

    longwarjournal.org On October 13, 2011 Jan Baz Zadran, the Haqqani Network's third in command was killed by the Predators in an airstrike Miramshah area, North of Waziristan. Jaz Baz was the Networks logistical and finicial coordinator. He also acquired weapons and ammunition for the group.
