• Before when first started to make gum he tried to make it for the tires on the car but that didn’t work so he thought of well why don’t I make something that humans can chew on? So he made it into gum, instead of trying to make it just for tires on car. -

• Someone first made a gum called Blibler-Blubber But it was like if you popped a bubble it was so sticky it would never come off your skin. -

• So Walter Diemer accidently invented the first successful come called Double- Bubble and he took 5 pounds of it and put food dye in it and went to the market with it and it sold out by the afternoon
