At this stage , it all begins when the leaves start to show at the top of the plant. Often during this stage, plant begins to allow their leaves and buds to follow the sun throughout the day -

Once the buds begin to open, the flower will point east. The buds will stop receiving the sun through following it, it will receive sun in the direction it ends up pointing. The bud will take up to 7 days (a week) to completely open the bud. -
Ripening
This is the last stage of the plant growth process. It allows the seeds to fall off and be planted into the ground. The leaves begin to turn yellowish red, and the stem begin to dry along with the seeds beginning to loosen. -
