    The term "magna Carta" stands for the latin term "Great Charter". It was the most important document in Midievil England. it stated that the king would govern England and deal with his people according to the feudal law.

    This was a group of people from the thirteen colonies that got together soon after the warfare in the american revolutionary war. They met in the state house of philidelphia.

    This states that the US is independent of the British Crown. it was signed by the congressional representatives of the thirteen colonies. It is an act of the Second Continental Congress.

    There are 16 atricles total. This document is setting a basic set of rules. It was an agreement made between all of the 13 states. it was then replaced by the Constitution in 1788.
  • Shay's Rebellion

    It was named after Daniel Shays. He was the one who led the rebels, known as the "shaysites". He caused the armed rebellion. they threatened to push the "undisunited states" into civil war.

    It was made of representatives from each colonies, excluding Rhode Island. The Constitution was framed.

    Most people know about the boston tea party by the colonists throwing tea over board. They were protesting against the tax on tea.
